MWVS Community Development Van Stadens Farm School Eye Screening

AFSD has been in talks with Spec Savers (PPN) on how we can assist our pupils in the surrounding communities.

Spec Savers (PPN) visited the Van Stadens Farm School to perform eye screening for a period of two days for 160 pupils. The screening were done for FREE and at the school. Spec Saver (PPN) arranged for those pupils that require a full eye test and possibly spectacles, to visit an optometrist in Mount Pleasant .

The objective in all this is

• To reach as many children as possible in
• To create and build beneficial relationships with schools and assist them on an ongoing basis with the screening of new Grade 1 pupils during the intake period at the beginning of each year
To provide and deliver FREE basic quality optical care to identified beneficiaries without compromising the  professional standards
• To empower the next generation with the gift of sight . See more...
