AFSD has embarked on an ambitious programme that will see its Team address the challenges of climate change, mainstreaming gender, food security, energy generation, conservation of our natural resources and local economic development of the surrounding communities. AFSD will be using its farm in the Magaliesburg to pilot and then scale projects that will contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals, also guided by the NDP to create jobs and develop the skills of the surrounding communities.

This morning we spent a couple of hours with a teacher Dina Beatty from Takoma Park Middle School in Washington DC in St Albans Primary School.

The purpose for the visit is to Twin the St Albans Primary School with Takoma Park Middle School and get the learners talking to each other. See more...
