MWVS Community Development Fourth Bakery Training



This is a third training session attended by the community members at Bidvest/Chipkins training, to be trained on how to produce best quality bakery products,The bakery training was an eye opener to our community members. The trainer kept on emphasizing that if you do not have passion and love for baking rather do not waste your time attending this training. MWVS Community Development St Albans Primary School Solar Training

Today we trained 105 Senior Phase learners, on the topic of solar energy. One of the main objectives for the training was for the "changing of behavior". If behavior can be changed in this area, it will affects choices, lifestyle and ultimately, the environment. See more...
















The Solar training with the Senior Phase went well, 15 learners were awarded solar lights after they had answered to the solar questioner.

MWVS Community Development Van Stadens Farm School Eye Screening

AFSD has been in talks with Spec Savers (PPN) on how we can assist our pupils in the surrounding communities.

Spec Savers (PPN) visited the Van Stadens Farm School to perform eye screening for a period of two days for 160 pupils.The screening were done for FREE and at the school. Spec Saver (PPN) arranged for those pupils that require a full eye test and possibly spectacles, to visit an optometrist in Mount Pleasant .

The objective in all this is

• To reach as many children as possible in  
• To create and build beneficial relationships with schools and assist them on an ongoing basis with the screening of new Grade 1 pupils during the intake period at the beginning of each year 
 To provide and deliver FREE basic quality optical care to identified beneficiaries without compromising the  professional standards 
• To empower the next generation with the gift of sight . See more...
