Take a look at how MWVS Community Project spent their 67 Minutes for Mandela Day at Witteklip MPC.
We had a full day program planned for the day but unfortunately mother nature could not allow us to proceed with our program, however we had lots and lots of Fun while also learning about Mr Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela and celebrating his life.
We started the day with watching a movie that gives Mr Mandela's background Long Walk to Freedom. After watching the movie we asked the kids questions about Mr Mandela's background and the kids that got the questions right we gifted with a gift card from Makro worth R50 some of the kids had to do a performance ie. sing,reading a poem or dance .We had a visitor from NMMU Mr Nkanyiso Radebe who spent his 67 minutes mentoring and advising our learners with on how to choose your career from grade 10.
